Z. Jennifer Lee is an attending physician in Gastroenterology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Lee was a resident and chief resident in Internal Medicine at the Hospital Center, and also completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at the hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Lee is certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Lee has authored several publications, abstracts and posters. Her special interests include women’s digestive health, colorectal cancer screening, small bowel disorders, and management of hemorrhoids. Dr. Lee has also been voted a Washingtonian Top Doc.
