Cancer Specialists to Host Symposium and Panel Discussion for the Public
Washington, D.C., April 9, 2015 –Cancer specialists at the Washington Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center will host an informational symposium and panel discussion concerning breast cancer for patients, survivors and family members. Come learn from the experts about advancements in treatment, research and gain practical advice about the disease.
The symposium will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 8 a.m. to noon at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, which is located on the campus of MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The presenters are top cancer specialists at the forefront of treatment and diagnostic research. Panelists include: Sandra M. Swain, MD, FACP, medical director, Washington Cancer Institute, Patricia Wehner, MD; Pamela Randolph-Jackson, MD; Brooke Hatfield, MS, CCC-SLP; Shannon Cook, MSN, WHNP, FNP-BC.
