Bariatric Surgery Seminar - Now Available Online!

This is your first step in the bariatric surgical process. These are held in-person OR online. Come join us and you will:

Our in-person seminar is offered free of cost and open to everyone, including family members. Feel free to walk-in into any of these in-person seminars that are offered on the dates/ times listed below!

Where: MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Physicians Office Building (POB), Conference Room 121. The hospital information desks will have the information on the days of the event to direct you in the right direction. Please view a map of our meeting locations.

Bariatric Support Groups

If you are pre- or post-surgery, this is the group for you. It's an opportunity to meet hospital staff and other patients in a supportive environment. Family members, friends, former and new patients, or anyone investigating the surgery are encouraged to attend.

These meetings are held in the Physicians Office Building Conference Room 121, across from Panera Bread on the 1st floor. You do not need to register, just show up and sign in. Following are the dates and topics for 2018:
