Priscilla Flowers, RN, CDE

Priscilla Flowers specializes in diabetes education. Ms. Flowers is a certified diabetes educator with the Diabetes Team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She provides diabetes education for patients, including women with diabetes in pregnancy. She has served as a facilitator for two community education programs, "Diabetes for Life" and "Lifestyle Balance." Ms. Flowers previously served as a nutrition educator, research assistant and co-investigator at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa.

In addition to her work as patient educator, Ms. Flowers is interested in research, program development and using technology to better manage patient care.

Claudia L. Morrison, RD, LD, CDE

Claudia L. Morrison specializes in Diabetes Education. Ms. Morrison is the program coordinator and diabetes educator at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She coordinates all aspects of the program and instructs patients and their families on diabetes self-management skills.

Ms. Morrison is also involved in community education on diabetes management and nutrition. She is a diabetes educator at various community-based programs in the Washington, D.C., area, including the Diabetes for Life Learning Center and the African-American Health Program.

Madeleine Maier Said, RD, LD, CDE

Madeleine Maier Said specializes in Diabetes Education. Ms. Said works closely with primary care physicians and endocrinologists to provide services and education to patients with diabetes.

Ms. Said also has a special interest in nutrition and wellness, counseling patients on issues such as weight loss and chronic disease management. She lectures frequently on topics including diabetes and sports nutrition.
