Special Volunteer Programs

Ambassadors of Hope Program

Do you have a little time and a lot of heart? Volunteer with patients in the Cancer Resource Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Volunteers offer one-on-one assistance to patients and connect them to free resources such as wigs, nutrition programs, support groups, cancer education and other services. Make a difference in the lives of patients and their caregivers, as they manage their cancer journey. No experience is needed. We provide your training.

All Volunteers are Welcome! Please call 202-877-5527 or email [email protected]

This program is a partnership between Washington Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society.
